BIO

Joe Frawley is a composer, pianist and visual artist whose internationally acclaimed sound collage works are intended to blur the boundary between music and sound art. By layering and juxtaposing original chamber compositions with evocative electronic samples from a wide variety of sources (found sounds, field recordings, re-contextualized speech, etc.), the composer has created challenging yet accessible sound assemblages bearing a hypnotic dream-like quality.
